Our first step was researching the preferences, habits, and online behaviours of Get Giving's target audiences, which helped us decide on the colours, tones and moods to use to engage them. Then we analysed top competitors and peripheral brands in the market to identify what makes them stand out and evaluated potential opportunities for Get Giving.
After identifying opportunities and researching our target demographics, we developed a playful, feminine and creative branding design with a balanced modern and vintage style. For our primary font, we used a serif font with looping letters, pairing that with bold colours such as pink, purple and blue to create an energetic and eye-catching visual style. We incorporated ribbon shapes to add a playful feel to the branding design, giving the brand a unique identity.
Our second objective was to create a landing page that would entice users to subscribe to the newsletter. We began by designing a mobile-responsive page that featured bright colours, unique illustrations and simple but effective interactions. Our design focused on making the act of subscribing as simple as possible, highlighting the value of the newsletter in the process. The result was an engaging and conversion-optimized landing page designed to be a simple and effective way for users to sign up for Get Giving.
